It has been a healthy start here Kimpton Down in 2026. January is often a quiet time with runners but this year it has yielded great success.

DARTREY has led the 3yo division completing the hat-trick at Southwell bringing home £15,963 in winnings in just six days. He went on to finish a well-run fourth at Newcastle in a valuable handicap. There are some nice options for him going forward that we will aim at after he has a quick freshen up.

Carrying on with the 3yos, the step up in trip for SIAM RUBY suited and gave her a comfortable maiden win at Lingfield. On the same course, breaking her maiden first time out was CHAMAS a daughter of CHAMADE who herself is a half-sister to our own Group 2 winning AMILOC. Although green early on she hit the line strongly and should improve from this run.

We continue to tick away with the rest of the team at home who are coming along nicely. The turf season is not all that far away, so preparations are very much in place to hit the ground running.
